I can't remember the name of a french movie i saw in the tv once. please help?

I can't remember the name of a french movie i saw in the tv once.

It's about a man (not sure if it's Daniel Auteuil), that must kill 13
people or something to get a job. Because they're are higher rated
than him. While killing them his son also steals some games/videos
from a shop. When the police comes by, they think its because of the
murder and he hides a gun in his pants. Then they find out it has
something to do with the son. Then the throw out the games in a river
later.
