when playing bass chords do i hit all the notes within that chord ?

for example lets say ... AM7= A major seventh 1,3,5,7 do i hit all
these notes at the same time ? i play bass guitar and like for A3 its
A note with the C# ?

i need help with these chords on bass guitar .. F7,Bb minor 7, Eb 7,
Ab Major.. and i will play a chord at the same time to create like a
harmony..
